As we previewed last year, the Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S is on our way to us in Cabriolet form, leaving us with essentially the same body, but with the obvious addition of the folding fabric roof up top. What this boils down to for us is that, under the hood, the 2014 Porsche have the same turbocharged 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine as the coupe, delivering an impressive 520-hp and 660 lb-ft of torque. But, for the 2014 911 Turbo S Cabriolet, it has received an updated 3.8-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine. So, essentially the speed and power is the same, ensuring that you and your passengers will feel plenty of wind blowing through their hair while also relaxing with the knowledge that the magnesium-framed top can go up in a speedy 13 seconds. Currently scheduled to arrive at dealerships early next year, these 911’s can be your beginning at the $160,700 price point. Learn and see more after the click.
