Japanese street culture, and perhaps the global street culture, would not be the same without Hiroshi Fujiwara. Acclaimed publisher Rizzoli compiled a vast catalogue of Fujiwara’s past works that have shaped the street culture in Japan and around the world. Simply titled, fragment: Hiroshi Fujiwara, this hardcover book chronicles the designs accomplished by his fragment design studio. Furthermore, this book offers a glimpse into the life of Fujiwara pre-internet era, where many of his achievements were relatively unknown to those outside of Japan. With contributions from Sarah Lerfel, owner of colette in Paris, this publication is said to launch in April 2014, but pre-orders are currently available through Amazon online store.
