BMW has unveiled the X6 M “Design Edition,” highlighted by a white paint job accented with optional three-colored M stripes, plus carbon fiber accenting covering the front splitter, rear diffuser and rear spoiler. The crossover is powered by a turbocharged 4.4-liter V-8, mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox and good for 555-hp and 500 lb-ft of torque. It rides on 21-inch alloys, with the the sporty styling extending to the interior of the cabin. There’s a Black/Mugello Red leather-wrapped dashboard, matching two-tone Merino leather seats and Piano Black trim. Mugello Red contrast stitching and an individually-numbered plaque round out the details. The production run is limited to just 100 units, with pricing and availability details to follow.
