Jordan Brand has taken the wraps off Chris Paul’s seventh signature sneaker, the CP3.VII. On the design front, the midtop silhouette draws inspiration from East L.A. and the ’80s era in which the Clippers point guard grew up, with a lead colorway that combines a vibrant mix of black, white, green and purple. Optimized for Paul’s speed and quickness, the build features Nike Zoom technology, dynamic Flywire and a herringbone pattern on the outsole for multidirectional traction. Responsive Podulite cushioning provides superior shock absorption, while ultra-lightweight Flywire is customizable through the laces, wrapping the midfoot and arch for an adaptive, glove-like fit. Additionally, a synthetic heel stirrup wraps around the back of the heel and integrates with the laces for a secure, lockdown fit. Breathable perforations throughout the leather or synthetic upper round out the details. Look for the kicks to launch in a duo of inaugural colorways — Black/White-Flash Lime and Court Purple — starting October 5th through select Jordan retailers.
