In case you missed it, the final episode of AMC's hit TV-series Breaking Bad was one of the most anticipated and talked about show of the year. With around 10 million viewers, advertisers spent up to up to $400,000 for a mere 30-second spot during last night's show, according to trade paper Ad Age. Knowing they can put their marketing dollars to a better use, real estate brokers at Century 21 took to social media instead and listed Walter White's home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Craigslist. Though fictitious, the fake listing included many intriguing details such as "3BR/2BA Albuquerque ranch is fit for a king" and "Two-car garage for a Pontiac Aztek, Chrysler 300 or both." Other references to the show include "Great local schools with dedicated teachers who take an interest in students," "world-class local hospitals," and finally "Perfect for outdoorsmen, with first-rate area camping and RV spots."
Listed as $150000 / 3br - 1650ft² - ALBUQUERQUE PALACE WAITING FOR YOU (Albuquerque), the fictional Century 21 listing is still on view on Craigslist for the Albuquerque region.
