With the confusion of the pink penalty flags now behind us, Nike goes far to the other side of the color spectrum for the Pro Bowl Uniforms that will showcase in this year’s NFL Pro Bowl. The game will also feature a new format, with the biggest change coming with a player draft led by the team captains in place of a straight-up conference vs conference match-up. The final team make-up will decide who will wear the white/orange uniforms and who will don the gray/neon green during the January 26 match-up in Aloha, Hawaii, scheduled just a week before Super Bowl XLVIII. The uniforms themselves were designed and engineered to create a fully integrated system – from baselayer, padding, and outer – to be lightweight, breathable, and supportive with a lockdown fit and increased range of motion. The game will also feature a shortened play clock and the removal of kick-offs providing for more time for some (controlled) hard-hitting action.
