adidas Originals Collectors Project

The “Collector’s Project” recognizes five of the world’s most dedicated and knowledgeable adidas collectors. The Three Stripes brought the quintet of devotees to the adidas global HQ in Germany, where they were given the opportunity to design their own bespoke adidas sneaker. Julia Schoierer of Berlin was influenced by her love of ’80s hip-hop culture to choosing the Rivalry Hi; Harlem-based DJ Operator Emz chose to rework the much-loved Pro Model 80s; Robert Brooks of London chose the ZX550, a shoe that had been missing from his collection until very recently; Tokyo’s Mr Magara went all out for his version of the Country; Ralf Tiittanen of Turku, Finland, chose to reinterpret the Bahamas silhouette. Check out the introductory video below, and follow the story over at the adidas Originals Tumblr.
