The former was originally designed by Newson in 2008, featuring an Atmos movement — powered by a technology first invented by Jaeger-LeCoultre in 1928 — housed within a Baccarat crystal bubble. The accompanying Memovox Tribute To Deep Sea, meanwhile, is dressed with a bright red dial, inspired by the legend of diver’s watches from 1959. The (RED) Auction is set to take place at Sotheby’s New York headquarters on November 23rd, with proceeds going to The Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria.
