With a top that drops back like Tom Brady (or Peyton), BMW reveals their second new 4 Series ahead of the upcoming LA Auto Show. Following the summertime launch of the 2014 BMW 4 Series Coupe, this 2014 BMW 4 Series Convertible is essentially a topless version of the Coupe, coming in both the 428i and 435i models in the United States. On the base end, it will arrive with a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine that pumps out 240hp and 255lb-ft of torque through either real or all-wheel-drive systems with 8-speed automatic transmissions. Like it’s long-gone 3-Series kin, the 4-Series will use a three-piece folding hardtop configuration that takes just 20 seconds to drop at speeds of up to 11mph. And, if you are having a hard time letting go of the warm weather and want to do some topless Fall driving, you can use the built-in neck warmers in the front seats to keep you cozy while you play with the infotainment and technology system. Expect these to arrive on the showrooms in first quarter 2014 beginning at $48,750.
