http://htc.com/” target=”_blank”>HTC has scaled up its flagship One with the super-sized HTC One Max, highlighted by a 5.9-inch, full-HD 1080p display that makes it even larger than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, which packs a 5.7-inch screen. The device stands at a full 6.5 inches tall by 3.3 inches wide, making it two inches longer (and well over two ounces heavier) than the HTC One. In terms of design, the One Max is virtually identical to the HTC One Mini, complete with a silver aluminum chassis bordered by white plastic edges. The curved back is made from premium aluminum and comes off to reveal a microSD card expansion slot, but the main feature is a smooth black square that contains the phone’s fingerprint scanner. The core components feature the same 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor from the HTC One, along with an identical 2GB of RAM backed up by 32GB of internal storage. The One Max’s 4MP camera is similarly borrowed from HTC’s other phones, while Android Jelly Bean 4.3 and HTC’s Sense UI are the latest versions of each. The HTC One Max will be available for Sprint and Verizon Wireless users in the following weeks.
