Because of exuberant cost of prime real estate, you will likely to find storefronts at the most unlikely locations throughout Tokyo, including the megapolis’ extensive rail and metro system. But that retail concept is no longer unique to Tokyo as UNIQLO opens a pop-up shop within New York City’s 14th Street-Union Square Subway Station. Built to be a convenient for commuters and tourists alike, the shop features many of UNIQLO’s winter favorites, including its Ultra-Light Down Jackets, fleece outerwear, and HEATTECH innerwear. With each purchase at the temporary shop, UNIQLO will also give a $5 MetroCard in a limited edition card sleeve as a “thank you” gift.
Opens now and last through the holiday 2013 season, you will find the UNIQLO Underground Pop-Up Shop at the East End of the 14 Street – Union Square Subway Station, directly opposite to 4, 5, 6 lines and tracks.
