Last Thursday, October 24th, H&M celebrated the upcoming launch of its Isabel Marant collection at Tennis Club de Paris. The venue was designed to transport attendees back to the early ’90s, when Isabel first debuted her eponymous line. It was a time of brasseries, neon signs, pizza shops, souvenir shops, and epiceries, with pedestrians enjoying street vendors during casual outdoor strolls. Last Thursday night, those strollers included a number of celebrities, among them Audrey Tautou, January Jones, Freida Pinto and more. They enjoyed live performances by Grandmaster Melle Mel and Rappers Delight, originally of Sugarhill Gang, while the Isabel Marant pour H&M Collection was presented in unique cinematic settings that used images, films and models.
