For those who were fortunate enough to visit the now shuttered NIKEiD Design Studio on 255 Elizabeth Street in New York City, these new designs will likely bring back some fond memories. To be available in very limited quantity, the “Monotones Vol. 1″ Collection of footwear features a similar tonal grey colorway found on the original design samples of NIKE iD. The line starts with a grayish-white Air Max 1, before moving on to a light grey Air Trainer 1, and finally an Air Force 1 Low in dark grey. All made with paint speckled canvas and a woven twill toe box in matching metallic color scheme. Last but not least, a seamless Nike Swoosh and tongue tag to complete the minimalistic appearance.
The Nike Sportswear “Monotone Vol. 1″ Sneaker Collection of Nike Air Max 1 ($110 USD), Nike Air Trainer 1 ($100 USD), and Nike Air Force 1 Low ($110 USD) will be available this Saturday, November 2nd, through select Nike Sportswear retailers and NikeStore.com.
