Nike presents the third N7 edition of Kevin Durant’s signature shoe, a KD 6 featuring the repeating pattern of arrows first seen on the Pendleton Woolen Mills Nike N7 blanket that was launched last month. A number of the shoe’s design elements pay tribute to Native American tradition, starting with the arrow print that symbolizes energy and forward motion. The turquoise coloring, meanwhile, symbolizes friendship, and the red accents represent one of four colors — along with yellow, black and white — featured on the traditional Native America medicine wheel, representing movement and the four directions. Reflective properties in the build add to the unique look, while the KD logo at the heel and Nike N7 logo on the tongue round out the details.
Expect Durant to debut the KD 6 N7 tonight against Dallas. Fans will be able to purchase the kicks through select Nike and Foot Locker retail locations — as well as their respective online stores — starting November 9th.
