Time to earn the mask… On the same day Activision‘s parent company, Activision Blizzard, was to report its results for Third Quarter of 2013, the company put out a statement that it sold more $1 billion worth of Call of Duty: Ghosts in just 24 hours. This makes it the successful (and lucrative) gaming title launch since Grand Theft Auto V, which broke the $1 billion mark after 3 days back in September. But this epic battle between the two gaming title franchises isn’t over yet. Expect another spike in sales later this month when next-gen consoles, Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One, are made available.
Available for Microsoft Xbox One, Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 4, Sony PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii U, and PC, Call of Duty: Ghosts by Infinity Ward and Activision is now available at gaming retailers worldwide.
