Didn’t we just celebrate the arrival of 2013? It’s been a good year for sneakerheads and Puma is working to keep the momentum going strong as we head into 2014 with the “Year of the Horse – Chinese New Year” Pack. The pack sees the Puma Suede and the Suede Mid wearing a lux suede upper material colored with a sugary-sweet chocolate brown or a lighter sudan colorway, each accented with traditional Chinese elements and symbols that pay respect to Xiangqi, a Chinese game similar to chess. In addition to the colorway, the Chinese symbol for “horse” is embroidered into the tongue and etched into the wooden hangtag dropping down from the tonal laces. The insoles also feature the pattern of the Chinese game board design that matches the Special Edition shoe box. The PUMA 2014 “Year of the Horse” pack will be available at PUMA beginning January 1, 2014.
