Motorola Project Ara

While in search of innovation, the http://motorola-blog.blogspot.hk/2013/10/goodbye-sticky-hello-ara.html”>MAKEwithMOTO team pieced together an idea that would make smartphones better without having to start from scratch.  Similar to http://freshnessmag.com/2013/09/13/phonebloks-a-phone-worth-keeping/”>Phonebloks, which we reported on earlier this year, the http://motorola-blog.blogspot.hk/2013/10/goodbye-sticky-hello-ara.html”>MAKEwithMOTO team is embracing the concept of an open hardware ecosystem through the medium of modular-constructed smartphones. The project is entitled “Project Ara” and has been passed onto http://freshnessmag.com/tag/motorola”>Motorola‘s Advance Technology and Projects group to be realized. While much of the details are still in the works, it is confirmed that individual developers will be invited to add their two cents in making this modular smartphone the best it can be. Let’s just hope that Apple doesn’t one-up them first.
