Yohji Yamamoto’s relationship with adidas under the Y-3 label has reached double digits and they’ve decided to mark their 10 years together with a tome that looks back at their time together in business. Called “10 Years of Y-3,” the book celebrates and tours the ten years of trail-blazing fashion from the partnership that is a solid blend of performance wear with high fashion. Mixed in with the detailed shots of their designs, the book also includes spreads of their wild ad campaigns, dark visuals, and other iconic images as well as studio and design sketches. The book will be published in a limited-edition run of 2000 units that will be gifted to those who have supported the brand and its evolution over the years, but it will not be available for sale to the public. You can, however, flip through the book on display at all freestanding internationational Y-3 boutiques as well as at the Y-3 homepage.
