Converse has partnered with Brazilian fashion label Isolda to produce a sneaker collection featuring a variety of bold and colorful designs that pay tribute to Brazil’s vibrant culture. The footwear range features a total of nine different prints finished on a trio of iconic Converse silhouettes – the Chuck Taylor, the CONS Auckland Racer and the CONS Skidgrip. The kicks are executed with a series of bright watercolors featuring cashews, guavas, “tutti frutti” and gemstones prints, as well as renditions of lobsters and octopus. The artwork — inspired by elements from Brazil’s tropical climate and culture — is applied across the canvas upper of each shoe, which is completed with a white rand and white leather logo detailing. The collection is available exclusively in Brazil, launching in limited quantities at select retailers including Dona Coisa (Rio de Janeiro) and Cartell 001 (Sao Paulo) starting Tuesday, November 12th.
