Described by J.Crew as “the greatest watchmaker you’ve never heard of,” Mougin & Piquard was started in 1852 by the Mougin family. Though the company would shutter its operations a century later, the brand has been revived by Tourneau, who have mined a treasure trove of old sketches from the Mougin & Piquard archive to begin a new tradition. This new Océanique model, made exclusively for J.Crew, is inspired by vintage diving watches and features a stainless steel case and bracelet. Powered by Swiss quartz movement, the piece has Rhodium hands with glow-in-the-dark luminescence set against a flat brass dial plate with Arabic hour markers. Purchase it now directly from J.Crew.
