PRADA has just signed off on their latest short to be added to their Prada Classics series, building on last year’s compelling film created with the help of Roman Polanski featured at the Cannes Film Festival. This year, the luxury Italian fashion house teams up with filmmaker Wes Anderson to create “CASTELLO CAVALCANT,” an 8-minute film staring Jason Schwartzman and GIada Colagrande set in 1950’s Italy. The short piece was shot in Rome and sees Schwartzman playing a race car driver who has a rather unfortunate run-in with a Jesus statue in the small town of Castella Cavalcanti. Drama, intrigue, and twists ensue. Is it a happy ending? Click after the jump to see what fortune has brought to Schwartzman this time.
