Heeding the advice of Young Jeezy and Yo Gotti instead of the usual post-Labor Day faux pax, Nike is helping Ohio State's football team go with an all-white-everything approach to their uniform. With the team's rich history and famous trip to the 1950's "snow bowl" as inspiration for the design, Nike presents the monochrome color blocking suit that is also specifically engineered for all-weather conditions. In addition to preparing the players to battle their opponents, the uniforms also help to fight the elements with Nike's Chain Maille Mesh for ventilation and Dri-Fit technology for combating cold temperatures in both the Jersey and the Nike Hyperwarm Eclipse Max Mock baselayer. Built to provide a comfortable, anatomical fit that doesn't sacrifice warmth, the baselayer also features Dri-Fit Max twill that combines thick and thin threads to accelerate the pull of moisture and save heat. The white uniform is combined with scarlet numbers and stripes on the shoulders and pants while seven Buckeye leaves ring the back of the collar and a “Block O” anchors the Nike Flywire technology at the neckline. Finished with Nike Alpha Pro Cleats and a big O on the palms of the Nike Vapor Jet 2.0 Shield Gloves, the Buckeyes will be ready for battle. Look for them when they take the field November 30.
