In two days, the gaming console war will be in full bloom as Microsoft unleashes its long awaited XBOX ONE system. The software giant has been quite careful in the classification of its new gaming console, however, calling it “all-in-one games and entertainment system” instead. But once you turn the XBOX ONE on, it is easy to see why. Unlike the previous generation, XBOX ONE, with its state-of-the-art engineering, allows you to take command of all your entertainment needs. It doubles as a communication device too, with Skype calling and Internet browsing via your game controller, Kinect recognition, and voice activation.
To best highlight some of the most important features, Yusuf Mehdi, Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President of Marketing and Strategy for XBOX, and Marc Whitten, Chief Product Officer, created a short tutorial for future XBOX ONE. Microsoft also created a Top-10 List of their favorite new functions as well. In the meantime, XBOX ONE will be available this Friday, November 22.
