Before the vehicle goes into production in January 2014, the SRT Viper GTS model will officially debut at the LA Auto Show in an Anodized Carbon Special Edition Package. The special features include metallic matte bodywork, covering a sleek silhouette equipped with carbon fiber brake ducts, orange brake calipers and gloss black GTS badging. Additional details include a carbon fiber rear fascia, anodized carbon fuel filler door and five-spoke alloy wheels finished in Black Vapor Chrome. Inside, the cabin is dressed with Nappa leather and Alcantara upholstery, as well as carbon fiber trim and contrasting orange accents. Performance is enabled by an 8.4-liter V10 engine, good for 640 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque. It’s mated to a six-speed manual transmission that allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in the “low 3-second range,” eventually achieving a top speed of 206 mph.
