House of Hoops by Foot Locker – Perth

By - November 29th, 2013

To help celebrate the launch of the first House of Hoops store in Australia, former NBA superstar and Olympian Luc Longley joined plenty of Perth sneakers and sports scenes on Wednesday night to mark the occasion. Guests at the event enjoyed a New York street styles menu of buffalo wings, hotdogs, and Budweiser as they listened to stories from Longley’s championship days playing alongside MJ, Scottie Pippen, Toni Kukoc, and Dennis Rodman and browsed the impressive display of his memorabilia, with most attention on his pair of 1996 Air Jordan’s, jerseys, and custom-built motorbike to mark his first championship. The packed crowd also met Phill Lain, Foot Locker Managing Director and Perth Wildcats game day announcer Aaron Ford who spoke on the impact that the ultimate basketball store should have on the local baller community. If you missed the event, we have plenty of recap shots after the jump or feel free to head to the newest House of Hoops store in the Southern Hemisphere now.
