From two wheels with its Commute Series, Levi’s is now moving onto four with the Levi’s Skateboarding line. First introduced back in 2012 as a collaboration with Nike SB, executives at Levi’s utilized the opportunity to gauge the overall interests on denim that would be designed to be versatile enough for skateboarding. The idea was so well received that Levi’s branched out on its own this year and created a full Levi’s Skateboarding Collection, including the Coachy Jacket seen here. Partly based on the classic coaches jacket, Levi’s added a hood and soft flannel lining for comfort. In order to endure the daily wear and tear by skaters, the jacket is made from ripstop fabric. It even features raglan sleeves for greater mobility.
Part of the Holiday 2013 Collection from Levi’s Skateboarding, the Coachy Jacket will be available via select skate shops and denim specialty stores come January 2014.
