Earlier this year renowned designer Pierre Terblanche — late of Ducati — joined Confederate Motorcycles as the head of design, and the first machine developed under his creative leadership has now been revealed: the Confederate C2 P-51 Fighter. The model represents the second generation Fighter bike from the celebrated custom shop based out of Birmingham, Alabama. While the details are scarce, Terblanche has said the C2 will maintain Confederate’s regular use of of aluminum, titanium, stainless steel and carbon fiber. A new billet aluminum crankcase for the V-Twin engine sheds 40 pounds off the previous gen edition, while a new downdraft injection system increases power and also improves the ergonomics. Check out an introductory video below, and look for the C2 P-51 Fighter to launch in the summer of 2014, with a limited run of just 31 units.
