UK retailer size? has teamed up with Starter Black Label and the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum to produce a collection that pays tribute to the players and teams of those professional baseball leagues of yore. Born out of the detestable Jim Crow laws that enforced segregation starting in the late 1800s, the Negro Leagues featured a high level play that would eventually lead to their dissolution, beginning with Jackie Robinson’s recruitment into Major League Baseball in 1945. The goods take the form of baseball jerseys, hockey jerseys, football T-shirts and caps, done up in colors celebrating historically significant teams like the Black Yankees, Hilldale Giants and Homestead Grays.
