Initially previewed with a sporty, motor racing look last November, Mercedes-Benz has officially unveiled their new 2014 GLA 45 AMG with it’s usual buttoned-up look. Many of the components that made it look so intimidating in its more aggressive dressing are still present, including a large front splitter in high-gloss black, a ”twin-blade” radiator grille, and a new rear diffuser with a four-tailpipe sports exhaust system peaking out. Power is provided by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, good for 360 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque, which is connected to a seven-speed, twin-clutch transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint time of less than five seconds while also touting a 31.3 mpg rating. Inside, the cabin is just as nice, with leather sport seats, contrast stitching, and Nappa leather covered accessories.
