The game is set 15 years after the Nostromo’s doomed voyage and centers around Ripley’s daughter, Amanda, who is now a Weyland-Yutani employee. The flight recorder of the Nostromo has been recovered at the remote trading station Sevastopol, and Amanda must investigate. The game’s pervasive sense of dread is inspired by the film, which entailed securing the rights to the original score, as well as three terabytes of images from the films, never before seen by the public.
