Nike Air Huarache Slate Blue

Has it really been almost 25 years? If you weren’t a dedicated sneakerhead, you probably couldn’t tell that this Tinker Hatfield-designed Nike Air Huarache was first launched in 1991, especially with all the success it has seen in the lifestyle market as of late. Continuing its momentum into 2014, Nike now dresses up the sneaker in a classic Slate Blue, which coats everything from the smooth leather overlay panels and toe box, neoprene lining, and rubber heel clip. Even the neoprene inner lining gets in on the fun. The hue stops when we hit the thick midsole in black, which provides a durable ride for the months to come. Continue after the click for more preview shots and look for these to hit select shops, including Crooked Tongues, next month.
