TOPMAN Design‘s Fall 2014 Menswear Collection did not shy away from embracing the oversized look at all for the colder winter days. Beginning with a lighter shade of blue offset by a heather gray, the pieces displayed a grungy style reminiscent of the early 90s’ fixation with all things big and exaggerated. Pants hung sloppily from the waists of the male models while boxy, knee-length coats covered the upper halves. Notable characteristics of the heavier pieces include the leather-accented pea coats and hoodies, all in the infallible hue of dark black. The slovenly overall effect may not win the hearts of the haughtily dressed, but now then, isn’t that the point?
