Displayed on microphone stands in a cavernous underground Soho space, outerwear was the star of the show at C.P. Company‘s Fall/Winter 2014 presentation during London’s Menswear Week. Standout pieces took the form of reworked Royal Navy parkas, treated with garment dyeing processes for especially rich coloring. Elsewhere, shetland wool and down insulation were combined with polyurethane-coated cotton for a modern take on traditional cold-weather garments. C.P. Company’s signature goggle hoods were a recurring motif, a callback to the jacket created by the Italian brand for the Mille Miglia race in 1982.
