For the NFL playoffs, Jordan Brand will lace up two of its marquee athletes with Air Jordan VI Cleats. Of course MJ wore the Air Jordan VI on his way to his first championship in 1991, and Michael Crabtree and Earl Thomas are surely hoping a bit of that playoff magic will rub off on their respective teams. (The wrinkle here is that Crabtree plays wideout for the San Francisco 49ers, while Thomas is a defensive back for the Seattle Seahawks — two teams that make up the best rivalry in football at the moment.) Tomorrow, Thomas will lace up the custom retro cleat in a traditional mid-cut silhouette, featuring a tonal embroidered 29 on the back, and a bright green cleat plate with isolated navy cleats that reflect the Seahawks’ colors. Crabtree will take to the field Sunday in a low-cut pair with the same black/white upper and a number 15 on the heel. Check out detailed images below, and look for the Air Jordan VI cleats to be available for purchase this summer.
