Marni has been a family affair since its founding in 1994. Gianni Castiglioni acts as the company’s CEO, and it’s his fur business that birthed the Italian fashion label, for which his wife Consuelo Castiglioni has served as the designer since the beginning. While the brand is known for its use of bold colors and graphic patterns, its Fall/Winter 2014 menswear collection is entirely subdued, with the emphasis placed on clean, distinct lines and texture. The suiting and knitwear are informed with a proletarian vibe, highlighted by ankle grazing pants that reveal black leather oxfords worn with white socks. Finally, fur accessories and overcoats add a touch of luxury to looks that are still wearable. See the rest of the collection below.
