Could this be the long-awaited successor to the Supra? We’ll put it to you this way: no one will put you in the looney bin for thinking it was. Officially taking the internet and the 2014 North American Internation Auto Show by storm, we present to you the Toyota FT-1 Concept. Stunning is putting it mildly for this long, sexy ride, which the Toyota team has been working on for years, with so many aspects vying for your attention. There’s a wrap-around windshield, an F1-inspired cabin, and a drop-back A-frame that gives the FT-1 an agressive and futuristic look. Toyota hasn’t released specs as of publishing, but they should be coming soon. What we do know is that the FT-1 concept, “represents an ideally balanced front-engine, rear wheel-drive layout that is powered by a high-technology, high performance internal combustion engine,” according to the Japanese brand. If you can’t make it to the auto show or wait for the next update, you may be able to find peace in the fact that this concept will be offered in virtual form on Gran Turismo 6 soon.
