Before there were after-market body kits, boutique tuners, and rim shops on every corner, there were blue collar guys in their garages, hot-rodding out their cars. And there’s no more iconic hot rod than the 1932 Ford Coupe, which is coming back, straight from the Ford archives. Offered in up in a reproduction 1932 5-Window model, the bodies are all steel and are made using similar tooling as seen in the original by United Pacific Industries back in the day, complete to Ford specifications. The effort and the product was led by Ford’s restoration parts program and component sales division, which now says that everything to rebuild the complete car is available for sale – all 9,000 parts! – which is a huge jump compared to having to hunt through junkyards.
