The latest collaborative project from Generic Surplus finds the L.A.-based brand joining forces with the American designer who seems to be everywhere at once — Mark McNairy. The resulting Chukka McNairy for Spring/Summer 2014 is based on the Generic Chukka, refreshed with a personal twist — namely, embroidered “TCMFB” (short for “Taking Care of Mother Fucking Business”) and lightning bolt on the tongue. Additional details on the canvas silhouettes include navy blue foxing stripe, waxed natural cotton laces and nickel eyelets. Dark navy and sand colorways are available now at Generic Surplus’ online store. Military green and natural will be in stores and online this March.
