Leading up to the official start of Chinese New Year on January 31, PUMA will be releasing another set of footwear designs inspired by the Year of the Horse. In addition to the already available PUMA Suede and Suede Mid “Year of the Horse” editions, PUMA introduces the PUMA Takumi 2014 “Year of the Horse” Collection into the line-up as well. In premium leather (instead of suede), the PUMA Takumi 2014 “Year of the Horse” denotes the significance of the Chinese Zodiac Cycle with faux horsehair or pony-hair applique on large portions of the upper. Finally, a leather tongue tag embossed with the Chinese character for horse completes the design. Part of PUMA’s exclusive “Made In Japan” program, the PUMA Takumi 2014 “Year of the Horse” Collection comes in either low or mid-cuff versions. Available now at select PUMA retailers in brown or black colorways.
