New York-based Venier Custom Motorcycles recently went to work on a Ducati 999S "Testastretta," transforming it from a race machine to one built for the road. Revised features on the resulting Ducati 999VX include a leather seat, new support frame and a removable hard seat cover. The stock alloy wheels were swapped out for a set of spoked rims from a Ducati GT1000, and a Zard muffler takes the place of Termignoni Corse headers. Venier also removed multiple brackets, tabs, wiring and electrical parts, while a number of components were relocated to maintain the sleek aesthetic. The look is completed with dark gray coloring and a custom-fabricated front fender. Check out detailed images below.
