With all the buzz around the Super Bowl, you might have missed the news that the Jordan Brand's Flight 23 store officially opened for business in New York City. Footaction and the Air Jordan Brand tag-teamed on the effort, which marks the first-ever Jordan-only store in the U.S. In addition to a legion of fans hoping to be among the first to take a whiff of the fresh leather kicks that lined the elephant print walls, Spike Lee, Jordan Brand President Larry Miller, 50 Cent, Kevin Liles, and plenty of other Jordan family members were there to mark the occasion. As you walk into the store, you'll immediately notice the product-first design, the retro "Wings" logo on the floor, and the spectacular, custom "23" chandelier made up of 340 individual gold Jumpmans. The store is located at 225 West 34th Street and is now open for business. Take a look after the jump for additional shots of the grand opening and make sure to make your way down to the shop; you just might want to wait a few days for the crowds to die down.
