As one of the most sought-after aftermarket tuners for car aficionados and day-dreamers alike, Brabus is at it again teasing us with a new 850 Roadster Edition of the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG. Fitting with their singular focus of maximizing the performance and styling of all things MB, Brabus turns their focus toward the SL 63 AMG, which they’ve equipped with a new aero kit comprised of a front splitter, hood scoop, rear diffuser, and trunk-mounted spoiler. Under the new hood, you’ll find the twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V8 engine tuned to send 850 horses and 1069 lb-ft of torque down to the 20-inch forged alloy wheels and out the new sports exhaust system. If you’re counting at home, that’s an increase of over 300 HP and 479 lb-ft of torque from the stock model. Brabus hasn’t released performance stats, but given the fact that the stock model can hit 60mph in 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 155mph, you can bet your britches this model is going to slap some time off those numbers.
