Take note, because Mercedes-Benz has just put the world on notice with the launch of their sleeker, sportier new 2015 S Class Coupe. Arriving with what looks to be the iconic AMG aero kit, including a broad-set grille, angular full-LED headlamps, and large air intakes that flow back along the trim to the wide rear fenders. Inside, the cabin is the “standard” for the high-end luxury S-Class family, with a three-spoke steering wheel, mounted touchpad in front of the center armrest that allows for tablet-like gesture inputs, a heads-up display that projects out to six feet over the hood, and Burmester sound system with surround sound. Under the hood of this beautiful beast is a 4.7-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 engine rated at 449 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque, which should provide plenty of performance through the all-wheel drive courtesy of Benz’s 4Matic system. As with any S-Class, the experience is about more than just power and style, but this 2015 MB S-Class Coupe sure does have both in spades.
