More than just a merchant in the wool and cashmere trade, Italy’s Loro Piana family have instated a stringent system of quality control that originate from the shearers themselves all the way to its mills in Italy, where workers pull out imperfections with tweezers. Hence, the reason why James Jebbia and the design team at Supreme use Loro Piana fabrics in their headwear collection seasons after seasons. New for Spring/Summer 2014 are two sets of design using Loro Piana Terry Cloth – one a collection of five strapback caps, the other a collection of five crushers. No announcement on official date of launch at this time, but the first drop of Supreme’s Spring/Summer 2014 Collection will be available this coming Thursday, February 20th, through its store locations worldwide.
