The streetwear world is shaping up to have its own Hot Stove league — the catchall term used to describe the various free-agent signings and trades during baseball’s off-season. In recent months Kanye West left Nike to ink a new deal with adidas, and today the three-stripe brand officially announced a partnership with BAPE founder Nigo. The streetwear pioneer clearly isn’t resting on his laurels — he already helms his vintage Human Made brand and this past winter assumed the creative director post for Uniqlo U.T. — so this new venture should keep Nigo’s name in the news. Details are scarce for now, but stay tuned for product previews ahead of the Fall/Winter 2014 launch.
