The blood-letting, Machiavellian world of http://hbo.com/game-of-thrones” target=”_blank”>Game of Thrones has found new viewers across all demographics and especially among the urban scene. To further attract those who aren’t familiar with the gory tale or the http://georgerrmartin.com” target=”_blank”>George R.R. Martin novels it is based upon, the producers at http://hbo.com” target=”_blank”>HBO will be putting out an official Game of Thrones mixtape this coming Friday. Titled “Catch the Throne,” the 10-song mixtape features songs by http://walemusic.com” target=”_blank”>Wale, http://thinkcommon.com” target=”_blank”>Common, http://bigboi.com” target=”_blank”>Big Boi of Outkast, plus http://daddyyankee.com” target=”_blank”>Daddy Yankee and http://bodegabamz.com” target=”_blank”>Bodega Bamz. Not just mere contributors, some of the artists, like Big Boi, are already hardcore fans of the show. Meanwhile, Common rhymed that “I sit and think when I’m in my zone / This life is like a Game of Thrones.”
“Catch the Throne,” the official mixtape for http://hbo.com” target=”_blank”>HBO‘s Game of Thrones, will be available for download starting on Friday, March 7th. In the meantime, HBO will air the new season of Game of Thrones on Sunday evening, April 6th.
