While all eyes are focused on Geneva for this year’s motor show, the tuners over at Alpina are doing a good job drawing attention to their latest BMW creation: the B6 xDrive Gran Coupe. Set for a release later this year, the model’s styling updates are immediately recognizable with a new aero body kit, comprised of a new front and rear spoilers and side skirts, as well as a stainless steel sports exhaust system. The exterior design is finished with a new set of 20-inch Alpina Classic alloy wheels while the interior cabin is nicely equipped with Lavalina leather upholstery, illuminated door sills, and wood trim. Alpina also took care to update the instrument display and place their badge on the steering wheel. Under the hood, you’ll find a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine that produces 540 hp and 540 lb-ft of torque through an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system, which lets the B6 hit 60 mph in 3.6 seconds. The BMW ALPINA B6 xDrive Gran Coupe will hit dealers after its debut at the New York Auto show later this year beginning at $118,225.
