For Spring 2014 Vans introduces a new collection that uses double-stitched hemp as the main ingredient on each shoe’s upper. The seven-piece range features three classic silhouettes — the Sk8-Hi, Era and Madero — done up in neutral shades for a nicely understated look. The Sk8-Hi features a build executed in a combination of suede and hemp in either black or grey colorways, with contrasting white laces and a rubber midsole offering a counterpoint to the tonal finishes. The Era, similarly featuring a mix of suede and hemp, comes in black, grey and deep lichen green. Finally, the Madero has all hemp construction and monochromatic coloring in either black or grey. The kicks are available now at Vans retailers and online.
