There is an old mythical tale of kirin (seen as the logo of Japanese brewing company of the same name) in Asia, and it is true in Japanese culture as well. Although, this mythical creature was said to have been slightly different in appearance from the African animal, giraffe, which is also called kirin in Japanese.
Footpatrol conceptualized their latest collaboration with UBIQ around the giraffe. Utilizing their most popular sneaker model, Fatima Mid, as a base, the exterior was transformed with a faux giraffe material. On the outer heel, there is a laser etched shide design to pay homage to the Yoshida Shrine, one of the prominent Shinto shrines in Japan. Apart from the sneakers, atmos (UBIQ’s parenting company) lent a hand in creating a matching Worker’s Overshirt and a Five-Panel Camp Cap. These items will be sold as a free gift for first few customers who purchase the collaboration sneakers in their retail store. Head over to their retail store or online shop to cop this footwear.
