Over the last few days, we’ve given you previews of http://nike.com” target=”_blank”>Nike‘s recognition that 2014 is the World Cup’s time in the spotlight via their most iconic retro runner, the Air Max 1. While we’ve already shown you the the http://freshnessmag.com/2014/03/18/nike-air-max-1-fb-mercurial-atomic-violet-total-orange/” target=”_blank”>Atomic Violet/Total Orange and the http://freshnessmag.com/2014/03/18/nike-air-max-1-fb-polarized-blue-total-crimson-neolime/” target=”_blank”>Polar Blue/Neolime editions, it turns out there are two more incredible pieces to this story, which together make-up the Nike Air Max 1 FB Mercurial Pack. All four members pay tribute to Nike’s strong connection to the world’s game, which dates back to their first drop back 1971, but really exploded with the introduction of the first Mercurial boot in 1991. Just like its soccer inspiration, each pair of AM1’s reflect a colorway first seen on the boot as well as the same performance materials that make up this year’s edition. With dimpled synthetic uppers joined with premium suede and mesh details, you’ll stand proud off the pitch, but with a translucent outsole in place of studs.
